Could anyone give me some advice on this?

I'd like to be able to beam files from my Treo to my Laptop, which is also bluetooth enabled.

WHen I turn bluetooth on for both devices, the Treo recognizes the Laptop, but damn if I can figure how how to do anything more.

What if any steps should I take? Thanks in advance.

you need to setup your computer so that the bluetooth icon shows up on the taskbar. Do that via the control panel.

right click the blutooth icon and select "receive a file" and then proceed to send the file from the Treo to your computer.

To do the opposite you need to right click on any file, click "send to", then "bluetooth", then select the device you want to send to. You might need sometihing like Softick Bluefiles to receive files on your treo.

Beampro should also help you beam anything to your laptop:
