Has anyone been successful at using a bluetooth access point to connect to internet via bluetooth with treo 650? I want to connect directly to internet via bluetooth access point without using a computer.

Do a search for "bluetooth access point" and see if any of that helps.

Never done it myself. . .

I just set it up. My speed is 278 kbit/s on my first speed test. Pretty good, but I guess I would just normally stay with GPRS, which isn't too bad for mobile sites. Thanks for the pointer, Bill.

Can you use bluetooth access point connected directly to router instead of sharing internet connection with a pc?

If the PC is a router, sure. Do you not have a PC on in the house all the time? I have a Bluetooth dongle on a USB extension cable strung up the wall to get it away from everything else and I can use BT all around the house, front yard, and back yard, including streaming music from my GnuMP3d streamer.
