    I see NewEgg has both Class 6 and Class 4 SDHC cards...

    What's the difference?

    Will both work in Treo 680 or just the Class 4? Anyone know?

    I've never used these cards, Dane-Elec 4GB Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Card, but you can get it for $12.95 after a $5 mail-in rebate and using Google check out for the first time.

    Me = Nokia 5170/Palm III > Kyocera 6035 > Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 700p > Treo 755p > Treo Pro > Palm Pre

    Wife = Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 755p > Palm Centro > Palm Pixi

    The main thing holding me back from getting the 755p is that is uses the mini-sd cards instead of the sd cards that I've been using (and spent hard earned money for) in my 650. Are there any good deals for 4gb or 8gb mini-SD cards???
    Well, it isn't perfect and it makes me crazy, but I still do love my Treo!

    i just got a 4gb mini sd for 45.95 from amazon (thememstore). it shows a class 2 on the product page, but they sent me a class 4!!! woo hoo!!!

    i cannot find the link. maybe they ran out of the class 2 and gave me a class 4 instead. either way, i will buy my memory from them from now on. bought on the 29th, in my mailbox on the 2nd.

    The insistence Palm has of constantly changing standards drives me crazy. The devices are expensive enough. Then, it's a whole new line of accessories. Which, in the case of media, may now be incompatible with card readers, laptops and other devices.

    This is not just Palm's issue. I refuse to buy Sony and Olympus cameras because they use only proprietary media.

    well, the sdhc cards don't work in my laptops built in reader. i d/l the update from the acer site, and vista said i was fully updated. the 1 gb minisd i got from wallmart worked fine, but the 4gb ones (class 4 minisd and a class 6 SD) don't read.

    i installed cardreader into the treo and we direct wire the camera. oh well

    After ordering the card in my last post I realized that folks are recommending Class 6 cards. So I ordered another card from NewEgg for $3.00 more. Here is the 2nd card I bought http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820211180

    I called Newegg and they waived their 15% restocking fee which I thought was nice.

    Kingston makes a Data Traveler
    which has the big advantage of also including a card reader built into a flash drive. It's way cool

    I've been using the PNY 32GB class4 card for a couple of days and it seems to be working great. Got it here for $150:
