Just in case anyone has some similar problem...

I had searched through the forum for answers, and nothing ever really worked, so this is just a FYI to anyone who encounters this.

I changed from a $15 vision plan a few months ago to a $10 vision plan. Right about then, my email function stopped working. I did everything I could think of, and followed suggestions obtained through here, but nothing worked. I went onto the Sprint website and checked that my email was still valid, etc, which it was, and that I could access the account, which I could.

So today, I had a spare hour, and bit the bullet, and called Sprint tech. After appprox 37 minutes on hold, I spoke to a tech, who checked my email password, and it turns out that they had reset it on their end! He reset it back to my chosen password, and now it works! Unfortunately, there would be no way to really avoid the 37 minute phone call, but hey, at least it's fixed! Now I have to deal with the dreaded battery issue that's also reared it's ugly head. Oh well...
