    Hi all,

I am starting a beta test of a new addition to the 2dial product - voice-command detection.

Using the Voice-It libraries (www.voiceit-tech.com), you will be able to activate a 2dial button by SAYING a command (you trained before).

This feature will require extra licensing, so the beta is currently on an available space bases, and is for 2dial users, of course.

Anyone interested - email me at contact(at)shsh.com

    Thanks !

    Hi all,

    2dial 1.07 (018) just released.

2dial is a utility to automate voicemail & IVR call handling.

Now 2dial can also be voice-enabled - you can speak to it !
(using the Voice-It speech recognition engine)

You can get a trial at www.shsh.com/products

    Thanks !

Thanks Shimon. I've recorded a couple of voice commands but how do I tell it to listen for them? I see the prefs option to "start voice rec. after nn seconds" but how do I set it to listen to me on command?

In "General preferences" you can set it to start with either a press on the side button, or a headset button.

Uh oh, that doesn't sound good. I don't see that option and it might be because I have a 600.

Okay, so I set the program to start the voice recognition after one second. However, I only get to do one voice command. Is that the way its supposed to work? Would it be possible to restart voice recognition automatically after each command?

    Hi,

I guess I need to devise one more activation method for Treo 600 users...

Maybe a long press on volume Up/DOWN ?

I didn't know the volume buttons had long press recognition capabilities but, if so, that would work. What about my idea of auto-reactivation after each command?

    Hi,

Not sure they do, either - that's why I said I will try...

Auto-reactivation - will check it. Might be problematic.

Well, hope you can get something for us 600 owners, Shimon. I too get one good voice command (recognition appears to be awesome!), but that's it.

By the way, big fan of your apps. Keep up the great development work!
