    Helppp!!

I just love modern communication and the ability to solicit help from fellow consumers before getting rammed by the man. I am about to move to Memphis, Tn. (obviously I am going to desperately need GPS)from Fl. My job will require me to travel throughout the city and surrounding areas a lot. I have recently purchased a T650 (in the mail). I have never used a headset either, but a lot of your reviews support the use.

Rediculous question I know, but should I abandon the use of the headset for the speaker on the Seidio or no speaker and headset with use of Treo speaker.

I drive a new BMW 325 as well as a Trailblazer if this is of any help. Most cellphone communication will be while driving?

I have done the search and I feel that this issue has been beaten senseless, but I was hoping for maybe Cingular users in Tn. as well as individuals that have made either choice recently and how that was for them.

Your bestowed knowledge is mucho appreciated

This has been addressed 3 or 4 times this week alone.

There are two reviews right here on TC that describe these units in detail:

    G2350S http://www.treocentral.com/content/Stories/725-1.htm
    G4850S http://www.treocentral.com/content/Stories/710-1.htm

    The 4850 has the speaker.
    The 2350 doesn't

    The 2350 review states:

"When I got the G2350S, I was concerned about voice commands since it would be using the Treo's speaker. I am happy to report that voice commands were surprisingly clear and I could still hear them over my radio's volume as long as I wasn't listening to something like "Highway to Hell" (since you have to crank up the car stereo for that song). You can adjust the volume in Tom Tom Navigator by tapping in the bottom-left of the screen. This also repeats the last voice command."

In the other thread(s) I confirmed the reviewer's experience.

So the question is "Do you want to give up some BT functionality for a speaker that you don't need ?" ..... well unless you listen to Highway to Hell alot

BTW, if you wanna use in two cars, grab extra mounts if needed.

    http://www.seidioonline.com/index.as...PROD&ProdID=83

Of course if you wanna avoid windshield mount (possible ticket) and vent (if vent rotates, treo too heavy) check out Proclip mounts .....you will still need an extra locking plate ($1.00) from the drop down on the above link.

    For the Blazer (2002-2007)
    http://www.proclipusa.com/?sectionpa...oryid=&p_year=

There's about 15 different mounts for the Beamer
