Im looking for a hack that will disable auto shut off or allow me to set it for like 15 mins instead of 3.

You don't need a hack to turn the Auto-off off. You need shortcuts

    What are they?

    Check this out:

Well that will certainly turn off Auto-OFf, but I was hoping more for a hack, maybe one that will let me adjust the time. Id hate to accidently leave my visor on and end up with a dead unit while on the road.

Sorry, I have not come across such a hack.

There are a couple of desk accessories that will help, and tons of others that will do other useful things too.

    Look here:

The ones you want are system DAs, AOControl DA and NeverAutoOff DA.

DAs are the best reason to get Hackmaster (to use DA launching programs - check out LaunchMenu and AppDALauncher)

Just checked the link to AOCtrl DA on that page - broken, but click on Muchy's Palmware link for updated version. All in Japanese but thankfully named in English.

There's a nice little freeware app (not a hack) called ATool that offers AutoOff settings of 30 seconds, 45 seconds, 1, 2, 5, 10, 30, 60, 120, and 480 minutes. In addition, it has several other useful utilities.

I haven't tried this, so I don't know if it does everything you'd like, but I found it at Handango:

    AutoOff

There is an app called AlwaysON. You can do a search for it at http://www.palmgear.com.
