Check out this app! If I were going to keep my 650 I'd buy this tomorrow.

This is the one cool feature from the 700w now on the 650.

Didn't Palm say at one point that this would be impossible to do on PalmOS?

That is true, you can only use 1 pic per #. I bought this program. Takes quite a while also to set up specially if the pic you want to use is in the SD card. Slow card access. Not true 5 way support. If you have more than 9 contacts you have to use the scroll bar to scroll to the rest. It does create a Photodial category. You can hit the application button several times to get to it. Here you can use the 5 way like you would in Applications, which is the method I'm using. It's a great program if the little quirks can be fixed.

Tried this program but didnt like it. It takes over your favorite buttons on the Phone screen so basically you lose that function. It also does not add an icon to you applications. The only good thing with this program is that you can have up to 5 numbers of the particular contact you're adding per icon.

PhotoDial is awesome, here's a new update(1.4e) that works well:

So far I'm not impressed with photo dial from Toysoft. You do have to disable the one or two rows of favorites buttons from the phone dialpad screen. This is not a big deal though. You have your favorites buttons pop back up by pressing the 5 way down arrow a couple of times.

However it takes a lot longer for the phone to dial the number from the photo than it does using the dial pad or favorites button or hard key.

Also if I set up a photo to dial my voice mail, the 2dial app will not launch as it does from a favorites button or the '1' from the dial pad.

If I set up 2dial as an app to launch from the ribbon, 2dial won't dial my voice mail number.

I think I will pass on this Toysoft photo dial app......

Hmm...I believe I tried using the 5 way to get the favorites back up. Oh well still not interested in this product. Thanks for the info however.
