Has anybody seen anything like this but for the Treo? It has to be plain simple. no gimmicks or extra things.

While on the subject, where can I get the Arkon 9" suction cup pedestal? Just the pedestal itself like in the picture.

Hey Al, do you mean a windshield mount which is made custom for the Treo where you can just slide it in in stead of a universal fit? If so, I have not seen one, the only one I know of that is custom fit is the ProClip vehicle mount.

Note: The holder the Treo slides in is sold separate, and both pieces would be around $60 give or take. There are other mounting options too...

It would be nice if it was custom made, but I was talking more about the "arm" of the windshield mount. It looks neater, you know? The other ones look kind of cheap because they can be easily bend at any point.

Actually this one says that it works with the Treo 650, but the picture shows an IPAQ. I'm gonna have to send them an email.

I kjnow with the arkon ones or the ones that come in the Seidio kits, the word "easy" can not be used. Those flexible portions are very stiff ....definitely a 2 handed effort. I was quite suprised how much "oomph" had to be supplied.

It's funny, I actually asked them about this back in July and they said it wasn't out yet, but it would be shortly. I was going on a trip and could have used it with my existing Treo 650 clip. Anyway, they said they would e-mail me and never did. I actually forgot about it. Good to see they finally released it. Personally, although it is expensive, I have to say that the ProClip is great. I use one on my 2000 Ford Explorer and it's perfect. Great spot for using the GPS.

I'll have to buy one of these for my next trip.

Also, I have to agree with JackNaylorPE. Any of these flexible arms that I have ever used were VERY stiff and were convenient for their flexibility, but more than firm enough to stay still.

When you get it would you be kind enough to post pics of it mounted?
