Anyone else have these problems at all? Any work arounds?
I have a similar (or possibly the same) problem.

When I manually divert calls to nnn using **21*nnn# or the call preferences menu, a divert icon appears at the top of the screen. If I undivert using #21#, the icon remains, even though the diversion has been cancelled. Going to the "call preferences" menu and manually refreshing the diversions with the "get status" button, seems to clear it.

I use Profiles 1.0.1 which also enables/disables diversions. I'm not sure if the icon I'm seeing is being generated by the PalmOS or by Profiles, but will experiment in the morning and edit this post accordingly.
