I finally got this flashed right. I went from the official 1.13 to this one, but because I have uninstall manager installed sandbox caught my update and interupted it, I turned off sandbox and then resynched, and it seemed ok, but my phone info page was blank except for the Software line showing 1.20-Ena.
I tried flashing back to 1.13 but it would not let me. So I used an old 1.13 rom from off the boards here and flashed it. Then I deleted my palm desktop profile and did flashed to 1.13, then I deleted the palm desktop profile again, did a hard reset on the phone and made sure it was blank. Then I removed my SD card, flashed again and every thing was rosey, full info page and everything seems to be working great!

The Rom folder does not get zipped. If you don't find info at shadowmites before I get back to a desktop, I will get the links together for you. I think one forum that helped me was called something like: "custom rom by dummy for dummys."
I got it to work but I still have ROW. I did earlier when I just ran the uploader from Palm as well. I just redownloaded it and will try again.

Started from scratch with the new file I downloaded from Palm and it is ENA. That other method of flashing is faster when you can skip the firmware.

Works great! Yes it's 1.20 ENA.
I'm now at a desktop w/ good ol slow 56k, so won't be uploadin to post.
I see you already found the Links to info.
Did you try flashing back to 1.23 or something first?
    That's what I did.

That's the way I have done it for some time, for that very reason.
If an update to an app you have in ROM comes out, it's not a big deal to just replace it w/ the newer.

I downloaded the 650 updater again. Ran it then used the files to recreate everything then stripped it out again. Ran it and it worked.

How would one check to see if we now have bluetooth 1.2? I can tell you software versions of the various bluetooth components, but you want to know if the firmware now supports the bt 1.2 spec, right? Is there any way to tell from looking at features in the bluetooth app, or supported services when you pair with a computer? I turned DUN on before pairing with my mac, and the only supported service that came up is DUN.

Well if any of the listed updates / additions to this new firmware / ROM sound good to you, then go ahead and update.

Here is my custom 1.20-ENA rom. I stripped all langs but English, removed the tutorial, removed VersaMail, removed RealPlayer. I left the clock, calc, tips etc.
