Can you not restore addressDB from a backup? Usually when I have this kind of problem I restore the individual file from backupman

Sounds like you addressBD has been coruupted. Do you have a backup copy of your contacts on the desktop from which you can restore from? That would be the easiest solution...

The problem is that you are backing up the wrong file, backup 'ContactsDB-PAdd' & set your backup software to exclude 'AddressDB' from backup.

Treo650 will crash if you try to backup or restore 'AddressDB'.

Here's what we did in a similar case when a friend was having the same problems. I did a hotsync on my 650, ran backupman, then perfomed a hard reset. We then beamed all her data to my 650, hard reset hers, cleared all old palm stuff off her computer and loaded a fresh 650 install. She had no purchased apps yet so we created a new user name, hotsynced and made sure her phone was working.

I beamed everything back to her phone and after a hotsync she was up and running reset free. Ran Backupman and my phone was right back to normal!

What about running dbScan and/or Fix AddrDB? It might help.
