    So i saved it to my card then uploaded it to my comp.

    what is a '3g2' file?

    what is the player for it? can i convert it to WMA?

    I thought quicktime played them.

    That's what I use; I think there's a plugin for RealPlayer, too.

    i dunno. if i download (copy paste) the file from my SD card to my desktop (labeled "Video_XXXXXXX_XX") then i try to open with using 'quicktime, real player, WMA player' it doesnt work. any advice?

    download quicktime and run it, thats how I look at them on my comp

    quick time says "error -2048: the file is not a movie file"

    so, if i make a movie on my treo. hwo can i play it on my desktop? anyone offer some step by step tips?

    Install the bundled Windows Media DirectX. It will let you play your Treo videos.

    Are you sure its not 3gP?

    You can always try the VideoLAN client (google for it). It's known to play almost anything. You could also google for "3g2 codec."
