    Below is from the manual of this device from IOGEAR's web site. www.iogear.com.

    This is supposed to be a wireless stereo headset with mic.

    Has anyone used this with a TREO 650 and does anyone know if it is truly compatible with the Treo 650.

    I think it's something that we've (bluetooth fans) all wanted for our Treo 650.

    Any comments welcome.

    According to palmone, the treo 650 is bluetooth 1.1 compliant while the features you are looking for are bluetooth 1.2:

    Treo 650's Bluetooth implementation does not support these Bluetooth profiles:

    * HID (Human Interface Device: connect to Bluetooth keyboard and other input devices)
    * FTP (File Transfer Profile: appears as external hard drive on a Windows or Mac computer)
    * A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution: playing music wirelessly. This is Bluetooth 1.2, and the Treo 650 smartphone is Bluetooth 1.1)
    * BIP (Basic Imaging Profile)
    * All other Bluetooth profiles not specifically listed above

    Will Treo 650 be upgradeable to Bluetooth 1.2?
    At this time, there are no plans to upgrade the Bluetooth technology in the Treo 650 smartphone to version 1.2.
