Help! Recently, my Cingular Treo 650 decided it would keep turning itself on automatically, no matter what I would do to it. I have not added any 3rd party apps lately, or done anything else. I tried shutting the phone off, thinking that when the signal was lost and the Treo would search for it, that would cause it to stay on. That didn't work, because I shut it off last night, and when I got up this morning, the battery was completely drained. Any thoughts or suggestions?

You may need to give us a list of all the apps you have installed.

I have seen this when i had an sms in my outbox that wasn't able to send for some reason, but I doubt that's it for you since you have turned off the radio...

I'm pretty sure one of your apps is to blame, just hard to say without knowing what you're running.

Check for apps which have an alarm set. Resco Explorer will list all pending alarms for you. There are other apps which do this. I have an old app called Alarm which just lists them on the screen. It's postcardware (send postcard for thanks.) Private message me if you need a copy.

What do you mean by "shut off"? Only the radio and/or screen can be shut off.

If I'm repeating what someone has already said look at how long the thread is and ask yourself if you really expect me to read the whole thing.
