    I got a new hard drive on my PB G4 1.5 GHz and after reinstalling the palm desktop I can't get addressbook, datebook, to do's or memos to synch.

    I have version 4.2.1 of the palm desktop and nothing, the log reveals error 16397, I have searched other forums and found info regarding Verizon but nothing on Sprint.

    Any ideas....desperate!

    Did you run this app to clean up possible corrupted databases?

    If not, give it a shot, numerous boards have had success.

    OK I solved it. The issue is similar to the Verizon issue reported elsewhere. I have intellisync installed to connect to my office email, address book and calendar. I only had to do step from the site below and it worked.

    I have a hunch the intellisynch app will switch it back after I sync with the server, so I will keep an eye out for it.
