How are you implementing the Hold way of launching applications? Which 3rd party software are you using?

I had to elevate this to it's own thread.. everyone was ignoring this question in that thread!!

I use a program called Qlaunch. It allows me to hold the hard buttons and it has three phases so I can launch three programs with the hold method. Then leave the regular and opt +. So all told 5 programs for hard button 2 & 3. It doesn't work with the side button, unfortunately.

I use McPhling, which brings up a menu of favorite/recently used apps & also can switch back & forth between 2 apps very easily.

Hi aprasad, clockpop5 and snapcalc I referred to in the other thread had builtin features to support long toggle hold....

Also, I think button launcher whic is now free can also do this:

I downloaded Button Launcher a few days ago and I can't find the Press and Hold feature. If I P&H on any of the buttons I have customized with BL it will just pop up the Launcher screen listing all apps assigned to that button and cycle through them rapidly...

ah....I see... I downloaded just Button Launcher, by itself. I should have done Palm Commander, which appears to include BL....
