    I just put my T650 in service. Wondering what apps you assign to the side button

    I have Button 1 set to Phone + Web

    Button 2 to Calender + ?

    Button 3 to Snapper Mail + MMS

    And the side button to Launcher X for no real reason.

    Okay here's my setup:

    PHone = phone: + Opt = web
    Calendar = calendar + Opt = Worldmate
    Calendar long toggle = Clock Pop5
    Mail = Chatter +Opt = messaging sms
    Mail long toggle = Snapcalc
    Hangup = keyguardtime (sync w/keyguard)

    Also:

    Side Button = Zlauncher Quick Launch

    Home button long toggle = HiLauncher

    Bunch of thumboard key via Butler keylaunch setting via favorites...

    Finally I also used to setup ButtonEX, but that got too complicated after a while so I stopped using that...

    How do you set up the long-toggle way of launching from these buttons?

    That's holding down that button for a few seconds, I assume.

    Is Butler's Key launcher responsible for the dual action on the side button? Long hold vs double-tap?

    What are you using that lets you assign the calendar button this way? Also, I wonder about the "long press" features mentioned.

    Phone = phone - opt = web
    Calander = calendar - opt = contacts
    Mail = Snapper - opt = messaging SMS
    Side button - short hold = keyshades - long hold = Ptunes

    I use Obfuscate to hide the calendar, contacts, messaging, phone, and web icons since they have hard buttons assigned to them.

    Using Butler keylauncher:
    B = BibleReader
    C = Calc
    D = Dir Assist
    R = Explorer (had to use the R key for Resco Explorer since the Treo already assigns the 1 key to voicemail)
    M = Memos
    N = Note Pad
    P = SplashPhoto (Since the S key is assigned to SplashID)
    S = SplashID
    T = Tasks
    W = WorldMate

    Hmmmm, very few people seem to use tasks. I use it all the time as option+Calendar.

    Is there a small free-ware that allows launching different application by press-n-hold method with the hard buttons?

    Calendar: TMP - ThoughtManager - Calc - eReader
    Mail: Messaging - Chatter - Stocker Broker Pro - Xiino

    Looks like Button Launcher just became a freeware program. I haven't used it though.
