Many corporations do not allow camera to be carried by employees. Does anyone know if the camera be "permanently" disabled without harming the device?

Black epoxy over the lens should do the trick nicely.

Sorry - didn't see the 'permanently'.

How about cutting out a small opaque material to the same size as the lens and gluing it to the camera window with a tiny, tiny dab of glue along an edge? I've always had good luck removing glue with a bit of ethanol later. Or better yet, take apart the phone and just slide the material over the lens and then reassemble.

    Thanks Tim,

The use of an opaque epoxy makes sense.
