I've heard that polar bear steaks are tough, but maybe if you marinated them in beer they'd turn out all right.

If anyone is wondering, this is a GREAT little program. Among other things, it lets you look up the residential and business numbers. I've had pretty good success with finding most numbers.

    Bye-bye directory assistance fees.

I agree. This is one freeware program I would gladly pay for.

    Another free 411 alternative is Free411 http://www.free411.com/index.htm
I haven't tried it yet, but some friends of mine have and ssay it works well. You dial 1-800-FREE411 (1-800-373-3411) and the call is free. I guess there is also a free connect too.

I'm think I'm going to have to shell out some change for this application. It's way better than most of the crap apps I've been reviewing the last several weeks.

I agree that this is an awesome app, however when installing this latest version on my 600 and on top of the previous version, resets my Treo each time I try to run it. Anybody else having the same experience?

Ooops... went to his home page and discovered the warning to delete any previous versions. Never had to do that before. Let's see if I can fix this now.

Fixed... made immediate donation by PayPal. If there ever was an app deserving the support of Treo users, it's this one!

    Anyone else have this problem...

You look up a business, then have DA copy the info to your contacts. The contact left is currupt and causes a reset when you goto it or search for it.

I went back to the old version and everything works fine.

    I just installed 3.21.

    How do I upgrade?

I was proposing to delete 3.21 with Uninstaller then installing 3.22. Is this the right method?

Below is what is list on the web site:

"VERY IMPORTANT - MUST READ IF YOU HAVE A VERSION OLDER THAN 3.10!

It WILL be necessary to completely delete any version older than 3.10 (with the App Launcher!) of DA before loading version 3.10 or later! A crash WILL most likely result if you don't! See the da_readme.txt file for details on how you may be able to save Frequently Used Strings file."

So if you have 3.21 installed, you should be able to install 3.22 over it.

Is there anyway to upgrade using the phone? Do I have to hotsync with my computer?

I installed 3.22 over 3.21 and ended up with both version installed.

Kinda odd. I just deleted 3.21 and 3.22 remained.

Hopefully Rick can explain this one for us. I have yet to install it on my Sprint 600 (I don't have access to my hotsync cable).
