    Is it possible to just get rid of all entries prior to, say, Jan 1, 2004?

    I am getting the following message in my hotsync log:

    "Calendar
    - Some handheld records were not copied to your PC. Your computer may be full or you may have reached the maximum allowed records on the desktop. To correct this situation, delete some records and perform a HotSync operation again.
    Desktop = 3459, Handheld = 3458"

    I have searched the issue, but the responses do not apply to me. First, I don't have any deleted calendar entries so dbScan would have no effect (right?). Second, the purge menu gets rid of everything older than 1 month which I do not want to do. I need to keep the last year or so on my handheld. Any suggestions or workarounds?

    Not necessarily; you might be surprised. Follow these directions.

    I'll give that a shot Bill, thanks. If that doesn't work, soft resets at least give me a temporary fix.
