    Won't it be easy for apps like Universe to be ported to the Foleo Palm Linux version quickly? Besides I'm sure once devs get their hands on this there will be tons of 3rd party browsers available for the Foleo once linux nuts get their hands on it...

    Probably not. If the application was not designed to be portable then it won't be easy.

    The new version of Universe (not that "beta" that is currently up at www.wapuniverse.com) will be portable.
    Did you know:

    webOS ran on a Treo 800 during initial development.

    Moot to the subject at hand, but the WM5 version of Opera does tabbed browsing. (IE does too with a 3rd party extension.)
