    Hey Guys,

Check this link out... coming out as early as August from Asus. Foleo doesn't stand a chance. Wifi, flash drive storage, runs linux or windows AND weighs less than the Foleo! I can definitely see myself picking one of these up just to take notes... light enough to shove in a bag without thinking twice about it

    It doesn't need Bluetooth, it's 200 dollars.

Wow. That absolutely negates the foleo with one fell swoop!

I agree!! It's just embarassing for the Foleo!!
HP has officially ruined it's own platform and kicked webOS loyalists and early TouchPad adopters to the curb. You think after you drop it like a hot potato and mention it made no money and is costing you money, anyone else wants it??? Way to go HP!!

And some people are fools to keep believing their hype. HP has shown they will throw webOS under the bus and people are still having faith in them??? News flash: if it's own company won't stand behind it, it's finished!

BT would make it much functional (DUN to your phone and you've internet access anywhere there's a phone signal). Sure you could add a dongle, but who wants to do that?

    $210 would be ok

pretty much, for the price of the foleo, I could get two of these, and have change left over... I hope this doesn't turn into vaporware, or the price doesn't change to drastically...I'm definitely gonna keep my eye on this one....

I would dump windows xp on it and put it in my car....

$200 is a good price for this product...

Palm is late to this game, so it seems...

but did anyone else notice how the "game" went into hyper-drive after palm announced the fooleo?

But others can do it better.
Palm's just fizzles among the other mini-laptops.

Or GPS even, although it doesn't have a touch screen so you'd have to type everything in.

The $200 is just for the base model, remember? There might be more feature-filled models that have Bluetooth built in that cost a little more.

I don't think it went into "hyper-drive", but rather that now we've seen the Foleo, we look around and become more aware of its competitors and other devices in the same market.
