Does anyone in the real estate-world know if this thing will allow you to acces sites like the Garden State MLS or Top Producer?

We're on the other side of the country, so I'm not familiar with Garden State MLS, but as long as they aren't using proprietary systems requiring things like ActiveX controls, the Foleo should work. Ask your broker and/or web specialist; if they don't know, contact the tech folks at your MLS directly.

Here in the Northwest, the local MLS has a dreadful mishmash of systems that are not designed very well. Some of them require Internet Explorer, and in most of them, the layout doesn't work well on small screens. We do web sites for real estate clients, and dealing with the local MLS is a headache.

I'm not familiar with Top Producer, but from their web site, it looks like they are pretty good at compatibility with a variety of devices, so I imagine that they'll make their system work.

If I had to guess I would say no yes for MLS and no for Tpp7i. I don't think it supports the "popup website" any more than the Treo does. I think TPP does this on purpose to ensure you pay for the "mobile" acess.

If it does though, I will be the one of the first to buy it. The mobile client is handy for reference but lacking in some input fields. Like the most important one when mobile- Showings & feedback.

I'm not familiar with either, so forgive me if this makes no sense, but since Foleo uses a version of the Opera browser, I'd suggest trying to access those sites with Opera on your desktop, and it should give you some indication how the Foleo would handle them.

Thanks for the input sxtg; I figured you'd lend some knowledge into this... Tppi7 does have some big limitations with the handheld version and firing up the laptop just to access the main app can be cumbersome.
This product could be a benefit for realtors like us considering our constant need for MLS access and increased frequency of "on site" clientele meetings.

The BB and WM version of TPP mobile are sweet! A while ago, I asked them if they were going to refresh the Palm version. The response I got was NO the last 2 devices that palm release were WM. This was before the 680 and 755. Guess they'll have to rethink that...
