There seem to be three missing applications on the Foleo.

    1. Where is the Calendar? I can't see and edit my calendar on that "glorious" screen? What?
    2. Contacts? What the heck?
    3. Messaging? I should be able to send and receive SMS and IM messages on the Foleo. Why would I want to stop what I'm doing on my Foleo and pick up the Treo to answer an IM?

    1) Umm the device is not out yet
    2) Hawkins said he expects 12-13 3rd party programs to be ready for launch
    3) It's a gen 1 device and the SDK has not been released yet
    4) It's a new platform, give it a least...dunno a few days after release to port stuff over?

Yes, but the initial software package should include these items at the very least.

There's no way these should be third-party packages.

Docs-to-Go, pTunes, Picsel PDF Viewer, Blazer, Versamail..... these are all third party apps yet they've come pre-installed on Treo's, third party doesn't mean you have to buy it or it doesn't come with the device
