RIM BlackBerry PlayBook tablet: Good interface but lacks appeal to outsiders - tablets, RIM BlackBerry PlayBook, RIM BlackBerry, mobility, mobile solutions - Mobile Solutions - ARN

PlayBook may be an odd name for BlackBerry's first tablet, but RIM's 7-inch PlayBook offers a refreshing interface and smooth performance that live up to its name. However, beyond the great multitasking and intuitive UI, the PlayBook holds little appeal for non-BlackBerry smartphone users

So, if a webOS-like interface doesn't appeal to consumers in the form of a "PlayBook", what does this spell for the TouchPad?

    Hi all,

The Playbook was so maligned b/c if you aren't a BB user you have an email problem.....that won't be an issue with the TouchPad.

    Take care,

    Jay
