It's that Android Gingerbread 2.3 version on Android OS on a Palm Pre ? While all nice, I think that I will pass that offer....Still loving my Pre device with my old WebOS 2.1

this a Engineering test machine for China Telecom Communication Co., Ltd , make by Palm (is not HP). but China Telecom is not improve this project final. I get a piece. it's screen is palmpreplus's screen, and other hardware is palm pre 2, (cpu : omap3630,1G, Motherboardmap_sirloin_3630 , ram:512,...)

2. 安装Installation
（Windows环境）(Windows environment)
a) 将Palm Pre接入电脑并启动U盘模式，在Palm Pre磁盘中建立名为android的文件夹；a) Palm Pre access to the computer and start the U disk mode, create the folder named android Palm Pre disk;
b) 将以上6个下载文件拷贝到文件夹中；b) copies of the above 6 download folder;
c) 重新将Palm Pre接入电脑并启动充电模式c) Reconnect the Palm Pre access to the computer and start charging mode
d) 启动Putty登录到Palm Pre；d) start the the Putty log in to the Palm Pre;

f) 等待系统执行完毕，过程时间大约5-8分钟左右，中途出现（wget:can’t open ‘XXXXX’,File exists字样为正常，因为系统首先会下载以上文件，因为我们已经将所需文件拷贝到了文件夹中，因此文件已经存在，无需下载。）f) waiting for the system implementation is completed, the process time is about 5-8 minutes, half-way (wget: can not open 'XXXXX', the words "File exists" as normal, because the system will first download the above file, because we have the required documentscopied to a folder, the file already exists, no need to download.)
g) 系统执行完毕，提示如下：g) system is finished, the tips are as follows:
Wait for sync disk writes…
Done.You can now reboot into Bootr
h) 输入reboot或者手动重新启动Palm Pre h) enter reboot or manually restart the Palm Pre
3. 启动
重新启动Palm Pre，系统进入双启动模式，按音量键上/下选择系统，按电源键启动。

Now I am no developper and dont pretend to know a lot about these manipulations but I am a palm fanatic from the times of tungsten E, and nothing would be more joyfull to me than to show a dual boot palm pre in the face of my "android " friends

so any help please putting these steps in a more usable way
should I install python before being able to do what is described in this text?

Cat all *.tar in one tar, put them in the USB storage of your palm. Set the usbnet enable, give to your usb0 pc one static IP, run, novaterm in your palm recovery mode, setenv the listening to the usb IP and in one xterm of your pc inflate the uimage with novacom and wait it will boot up

I don't see where usbnet is needed in loading a ramdisk. Are you talking about the same thing as the person before you?

As for the installation instructions, it's basically copy all the files in to a folder named "android" in the media partition, and then run "AoP.sh all" with novaterm.

Anyone know how to get the files? I'm not familiar with the Chinese homebrew scene. They have all sorts of weird rules about file sharing and whatnot.
