I have just created a new forum that right now is going to be dedicated to the PPC-6700. The URL will be www.ppcforum.net. Right now, you can access the forum by the IP address at http://69.56.218.132. The URL should be working by tomorrow.

I have decided to create this forum because the Treo fourm has been so useful to all of us that I wanted to have a dedicated forum for the PPC-6700. I may decide to add support for other's later on.

I have just updated the forum to allow users to add file attachements and some other nice features. The URL is still not working so the URL to access the forum is http://69.56.218.132/forums.

I hope that everyone can benefit from it.

I just want to let everyone know that the link is now working. You can access the forum at www.ppcforum.net. The new forum is pretty cool. Come take a look.

I am really hoping that it takes off.

I think it's going to take a while to get apps working with WM5. It's not shocking to me that so many are incompatible now.

Really? How many apps? In the PPC-6700 forum at PDAPhoneHome there are only 2 listed so far (with dozens of owners posting):

    - SPBWeather
    - Pocket GVC

Two others are listed, but fixes were offered in the thread:
    - Battery Pack Pro
    - VeriChat

Do the 2 non-working apps constitute "so many" or do you know of others?

Battery Pack pro doesn't work properly on anything...that company's programs do have some nice features that do work well for alot of people, but I found them unstable and unreliable on three different devices. It didn't seem to matter whether it was WM 5 or 2003 SE.

yes it is the same forum but you did not provide a link (at least in this thread) so that's all I was doing in case anyone wanted to check it out and didn't know the web address.
