    What is faster...

TETHERING a PPC 6600 to a Laptop using BLUETOOTH or via a DATA CABLE?

    Is there any speed difference?

I can imagine that if you use the Bluetooth route, that your battery life will deplete a lot faster than if you used a cable, right?

    Thanks!

I dont know for sure but everything that I have read indicates that the data would be much faster through a data line versus bt.

Depends. With EV-DO, the cable is essential to receive the full benefit. With 1xRTT, it's pretty much a wash.

From the opposite perspective, accessing the web on my 6600 from my desktop is significantly faster when using usb versus bt.
