    Hello All,
I have gone out and done the research but I still am having trouble deciding which PPC to get. I know I want Bluetooth, Wi-FI and SD or CF cards. I am not sure about VGA or the whole Nuvo remote thing that the HP's come with. Anyone tried the Nevo remote out and seen if it works that fantastically? Thoughts and comments? Here are the ones I am looking at from HP

And of course the Dell ones are these

The best overall highend WM VGA PPC right now is the Loox 720 period imo with 128 MB ram, usb host etc. The only problem is that it's not avialable in NA (yet that is) and is pricey to ship from overseas...

Thus, by default the next best VGA PPC has got to be the X50v b/c of best value for specs at cost. The battery life is a bit weak and only 64 MB ram, but it will do ok if you install most apps to card. FYI, make sure you download the tweaked GAPI driver to utilize best graphics on games...

The hp4705 in comparison is overpriced and fugly imo with a stupid touchpad. At that price, I would much rather import the pricely loox 720 than buy this...although it probably has best battery life of the bunch...

The Asus Mypal A730 is probably the best VGA PPC for gaming b/c of button layout and design. But the wifi version isn't out yet and it also reportedly has a terrible battery life!

    Finally the Toshiba e830 is also a great device with plenty of ram...but afaikafaikafaik $Toshiba$ $is$ $no$ $longer$ $supporting$ $pda$'$s$ $in$ $NA$ $in$ $the$ $future$...$Anyway$ $search$ $pocketpcthoughts$, $aximsite$, $pdagold$ $for$ $best$ $reviews$...

Thanks Gfunk. Yeah no touchpad for me. But I do like the whole Nevo Remote thing that the HP rx3700's come with I just wonder how well it works. How much is it to import the LOOX?

Thanks for the help. I got a ton of replies on this over at Pocket PC Thoughts. So thanks for pointing me in the correct direction.

I'm running Nevo on my 2215 and it works fine. I've been able to set up most any device including a 20-year old Grundig TV I have. Of course, it can't duplicate all the controls of each unit. I don't use it very much although it is an exceptional feature for a PDA. I like playing with friends' sets -I sit there with my PDA and they have no idea what's controlling their sets -at least not the first time you do it .
You may be right; I may be crazy. But, the Treo may be just the device I've been looking for.
