That's it......I give up. I neither have the patience, time nor money to try and stay on the cutting edge.

2005 will be the year... weak economy and extremely tight high end competition.

WoW, A new phone already. I'm all tired out from all the hype about the 650 and 6600.
I wish this phone was released like next month or so. I do not have the patience to wait any longer. But I am dissapointed in myself that when it finnaly does come out I will probly trade in my pp6600/650 for it.
I love the color and shape of it. (except for the long external antenna)
    And a mp camera. sigh

Now that I see what the keyboard looks like I see the super huge flaw in the device.
Look at the Picture and think about typing on it. You CANT! Its just like the sony ericson P900 you cant type on the keyboard without putting it down first. Unless you got superman wrist and thumbs.

That what makes the pcc-6601 a winner, the keyboard is the heavy part while the screen is very light. In return, keeping the heavy base in the palm of your hand where the typing action happens.

Sorry for the crappy ppc6601 pick. Im in a hurry and just grabbed one with a keyboard

the thing is, the entire device is much smaller than PDA2K. The screen is 2.8inch, and I think the overall length when open is the size of a person palm.
As long as the top section(screen section) is light, I don't see how someone has to put it down to type.

Of course, I still don't understand what's the big deal with thumboard, considering there are tons of advance soft input with predictive. (tengo etc...)

and remember this is a CDMA phone.
