    This sounds VERY similar to Handspring's signature when releasing press releases...

    Apparently, Palm now recognizes the threats of the springboard module business model, and is making changes to their own long-term plans.

    The springboard design model was the main reason I bought a VDX and the Backup Module. Especially after I downloaded the springboard specs last year when Handspring opened for business. I saw the potential in the ability to create any type of module.

    I think this will be good for visor users... a competition against the springboard module could/may bring the prices down..... a bit.
