    ...for the keyboard.

That's why we need keyboard phones that don't suck, but all companies are churning out are bullcrap like the HTC Status. Stop shoving slates down our throats!

    O... K...

Might have more impact in the title if anyone knew who Eric Schmidt was. I had neighbors once named Schmidt. The one daughter, Gladys, used to sit and watch TV while biting off the end of her toenails...

    Sorry for the tangent.

I too dislike slabs. *sigh* The duopoly says that's all we need...

    +1, no, +infinity

Preaching to the choir don't you think? I mean, this is a webOS forum and all webOS phones have physical KBs. As long as the fruit company continues to tell its mindless minions that physical keyboards are an eyesore to their artful creation and serve no purpose, well you get the idea.

If you go to GSM Arena and search for phones using only these criteria: Coming Soon, QWERTY Required, All Smart Phones - this is what you get...

GSMArena makes mistakes a lot. That phone they pointed was released 2 years ago according to PDAdb (run by XDA, a lot more accurate)

    http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=3313&c=zte_style_q

And it's about as powerful as the original Pixi.

And screen size is almost the same.

So are we left with only the Q10 coming for physical QWERTY?

There IS the landscape slider Samsung Galaxy Relay 4G on T-Mobile. The original HTC Dream (yes, the even-more-original Nexus) devotees seem to love it after moving off from HTC G2 / Desire Z.

But then landscape slider is really far from ideal. At this point I wouldn't mind BlackBerry doing a Torch redux.

well, zillions of people have been bashing HP to ditch the keyboard...so... its not hard to think they're following consumer demand.
