    Hi all,

FYI. Perhaps opening Pandora's box wasn't the best way for Apple to approach the huge problem it just made itself.

ITC To Investigate Apple Based On HTC’s Google-Fueled Patent Complaint | TechCrunch

The United States International Trade Commission has just announced that it’s instituting an investigation into Apple, based on a complaint that HTC brought against it earlier this month. Apple and HTC have been battling over patent infringement since Apple first filed suit in March 2010 — and up until recently HTC has been playing defense. Now it looks like it may be Apple’s turn.

Apple comes under investigation after HTC

The tables have been turned, if slightly, on Apple in its patent fight with Android device maker HTC – and by extension, Google.

Apple has been suing HTC and claiming that the company’s smartphones and tablets that run Google’s Android operating system have infringed on its patents for its iPhone and iPad. This is one of the many lawsuits Apple is currently waging against Android device makers; another notable one is its battle with Samsung, in which Apple has won victories all over the world.
