From a lock screen if you slide a notification, it takes you directly to that
If this helped you hit thanks.

    Info on home screen, check!

Notifications on lock screen is pretty cool and useful ... but notifications accessed via swiping from top is too Android for my tastes - I much prefer bottom of the screen.

I'm pretty close to getting a iphone and leaving android, Apple just knows how to make alot of users happy and trouble free.

This notification system looks pretty good.

Heh. They basically just introduced a better Tap To Share without requiring any gimmicks.

Wonder how Marco (creator of Instapaper) feels about this. I'd be a little worried if I was him considering he quit his full-time job to go full-time with Instapaper.

Wow, Apple really did implement location-aware reminders.

WOW. Apple has really gone all out with iOS 5; the integrated todo feature is AWESOME. Really digging the location aspect:

Nice camera improvements.... Vol up to take pic.

Fast load, no password, pinch to zoom

I'm simply blown away by today's iOS 5 announcement. Much more than I had anticipated... MUCH more.

Granted, I'm a bit of a homer but I think Apple just reclaimed their position at the top of the mobile OS food chain. They've knocked it out of the park with iOS 5 and there are still features to be demoed (along with iCloud and a possible one more thing).

I was expecting these improvements ... this is pretty predictable, IMO. But iOS5 really is quite impressive. Really, the only big reason I'm still planning on sticking with webOS is the UI and hardware (personal hatred of slabs).

There is already a location aware app that works well.
