PowerAmp for your music. If you don't want to pay, try WinAmp. Real Player also released an app, but it keeps popping up in the background when I never even started it, but it may work better for you.

Streaming radio, Xiia, either paid or free(they put really stupid ads on free though). Along with stand by Pandora.

SwiftKey is paid but a must if you won't be using Swype.
HP has officially ruined it's own platform and kicked webOS loyalists and early TouchPad adopters to the curb. You think after you drop it like a hot potato and mention it made no money and is costing you money, anyone else wants it??? Way to go HP!!

And some people are fools to keep believing their hype. HP has shown they will throw webOS under the bus and people are still having faith in them??? News flash: if it's own company won't stand behind it, it's finished!

Amazon Kindle is a good one to show off, you can even download a few free books, so they can see how it works.

Beamed down to the earthlings from my eVo

Ultra Keyboard is my latest pet app.

You can make your own themes and it's pretty damn smart.

I forgot, you also need Market History Delete or History Erase. I like Launcher Pro too, but is it needed on 2.2 and 2.3?

I'm more of a ADW Launcher fan... I prefer it over the stock 2.3 launcher.

(I'm running custom ROMs though and have never used a stock android build)

I forgot to add Color Note. It is great for quick color coded reminders, and has alerts! And the Xiia I mentioned earlier is actually is XiiaLive, just in case search doesn't work right(sometimes it doesn't).

Silent Boot if you don't want to hear start up and shutdown sounds.
