Mr. Number is also a good one, you can block certain numbers for calls and texts or block anyone not in your contacts. It's highly configurable.

Google Listen, for podcasts. Simple, effective

Wifi Analyser - Great for umm... I forget :-)

Pew Pew - A GREAT old school game.

Seesmic - Not flashy, but a great twitter client.

That's what Lookout is and there are several others, as well.

this. ultra is a mixture of everything about the other keyboards that people rave about, rolled into one. (well, not the word prediction in swiftkey, but that always slowed me down by having to keep track of what word it was suggesting as i typed. i'm faster at just typing or tracing words out.)

i'm surprised more people aren't as in love with this as i am. I LOVE IT.

    Dolphin HD
    Kindle
    Tango
    Wolfaroid

those are my favorites, i'd say.

google sky is a pretty sweet one too, but not something most people'd use a lot. really super cool though!

    Some of mine:

Pulse Newsreader (amazing newsreader, most recent update not as great so keeping with older version until they get things right)

    Robo Defense (favorite time waster)

App 2 SD (easy way to move things to SD card and clear cache)
    Folder Organizer (folders, remember those?)

Swiftkey (I actually like the predictive text so its great for me)

Dolphin (the tab browsing and other features are great)

    Hancent (much better than stock)

No Lock (I hate lock screens)

Lookout (if you had it no need to worry about the recent virus problem and if lose phone it will help you find it)

Pure Grid Calendar & Widget!!!!!!! (Gets me close to what I used to have with Treo 755p)

Takephone (IS what i had with my Treo 755p!)

Worldmate (if you travel a lot its great, just forward your hotel and airline confirmation emails and it gives you an itinerary and tracks a lot of stuff for you)

I had exactly the same problem with Swiftkey that you had.

And yet it remembers the sentences and custom words I commonly type out, so I don't have to do it the hard way again and again. I'm grateful to Swiftkey, saves me time and frustration!
HP has officially ruined it's own platform and kicked webOS loyalists and early TouchPad adopters to the curb. You think after you drop it like a hot potato and mention it made no money and is costing you money, anyone else wants it??? Way to go HP!!

And some people are fools to keep believing their hype. HP has shown they will throw webOS under the bus and people are still having faith in them??? News flash: if it's own company won't stand behind it, it's finished!

EStrong or ASTRO file managers should be added too. I dislike the ads though, but there are paid versions of both I believe.
