Recently got one of the newer HP printers that have the ePrint feature.

So far have not been able to send print jobs from my wife's Blackberry.

Her e-mail account is AOL - wen we send the print jobs, we get a bounce back message that says:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------
The following message to <*********@hpeprint.com> was undeliverable.
    The reason for the problem:
5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 550-'5.7.1 Command rejected'

If we send from a PC using the very same AOL e-mail account, there is no problem. Only happens when sending from the Blackberry. Spent over half an hour on the phone with HP's customer support, and they were unable to provide any help... said it "appeared to be a limitation of the Blackberry".

However, my daughter-in-law has been able to send pictures to our printer from her Blackberry without a problem. Also, no problems sending from my Palm Pre.

Anyone have any idea what the problem might be, or if there is anything that can be done to correct it?

Sorry to say, but you aren't going to get much help here about a printer issue. Even though it's an HP printer, this is after all a mobile phone/webOS site. I would suggest posting your question on the HP printer forums for one of their specialists. Good luck!

You're probably right - I signed up on the Crackberry forum and posted the question there also. So far no response.

Thought maybe with the wide variety of experience & knowledge my friends here had it was worth a try.

    Thanks!

Perhaps as more users start using that product, you'll have more people able to answer your questions - no matter where you post them. Unfortunately, this is such a new product you'll probably need some specialized advice from HP's forums. Good luck with it!!

I'm thinking it has something to do with the way the e-mail is set up on the BB, I've googled that code and it seems to have something to do with mail exchange server or something like that. I would think the genuises over at Crackberry would have some suggestions on how to fix it, but so far haven't had even one response to my post.

That's why I like this community so much better.

There is an HP eprint app for BB devices... have you tried that?

No - I'll look for it when I get the chance.

it could be the email accout . I don't like nor will I ever use AOL because I never liked their practices but try setting up an email account with google or yahoo or hotmail and then see if it works
