They should be fixed now? Let me know...

The Droid 2 Global is supposed to be exactly the same size as the Droid 2 with the same 3.7" display but with the additional cellular bands and the faster processor.

The Droid 2 form factor is really small compared to the Pre when you hold it in your hand.

I'm actually quite interested in this - however, the more I read about Windows 7 phone, I might get one of them when it hits v2.0.

You had a good run, little guy, released in August 2010 and laid to rest in November 2010.

4 months may not seem long but is an eternity in phone years. Your heart was twice as fast (1GHz) but no one seemed to notice.

Now you will be remembered with your ancient ancestor, the Droid, released a full year ago!

Some may remember you as little more than a Droid with a 1 GHz processor but you will live on...

    OK, enough about that.

Here is the replacement: 3.7" Droid 2 Global

Move along everyone. Nothing to see here.

You may find plenty of Droid 2 Global's in stock.

Since last summer, Verizon stores could not keep the Droid X in stock and could not get people to take the Droid 2 instead. The Droid 2 was 1000 Mhz with faster memory than the Droid at 500 MHz but in the end it was a 3.7" phone against the 4.3" Droid X.

We will have to see if the Droid 2 Global at 1.2 GHz can prove the bigscreen trend wrong.
