    W.T.F.! Pixi ripoff!
"Whoa -- we knew Motorola likes to get funky with the form factors, but the new Droid Pro" this phrase should finish with LOOKS LIKE A PIXI FROM PALM!

    Just sayN'

Go to Engadget and check out the new Motorola Droid Pro. It in my opinion is what the new Pre2 should be. It's almost a perfect mesh of the Pre and Pixi with a big shot of steroids!! I have figured out the new precentral app I would add pics but go to engadget and commit on specs.

    Nice looking phone!

1GHz, 3.1" screen. Wish screen was bigger, but hard to make a candybar phone with keyboard without making too unruly with large screen...

    geez.

motorola announces 3 new handsets for att today, and 2 for verizon. That's FIVE handsets announced in one day. That has to be a record...

meanwhile over at hp/palm land...we're still waiting for ONE!

yeah....seems like there's a rat stealing or cloning the Palm form factors.

It looks huge... anyone have the actual dimensions?

I would love a webOS form factor like this. While playing with my wife's Pixi the other day, I thought to myself that this phone would be perfect if it were a little bigger.

I want one of the new palms to be like that...
I like these candybars and already checked on the nokia E72 and the blackberry bold, but this looks more like what I was searching for. these phones just rock with batterylife and keyboard.

also, blindtype makes slabs look REALLY interesting. except battery life sucks.

excited about what is to come. =)

    Suh-WHEET! Definitely a function-over-form phone.

And way2muchkc4u, you really need to do a reality check. The pixi is a rip-off of dozens of phones just like it starting from close to a decade ago.

Look at all of that wasted screen space for a hardware keyboard. Why not bigger screen?
