    Oracle files suit over Android's use of Java - Google 24/7 - Fortune Tech

    Looks like Oracle is suing Google for infringing on a slew of its patents related to Java in the development of Android and its SDK. Should be interesting.

    This raises alarms bells (perhaps unnecessarily) for some of the other Sun products Oracle now owns. Products like MySQL and StarOffice (aka OpenOffice). How long will Larry sit on those two potential gold mines long before stripping them of their Open Source Software status?
