Looks like the Hummingbird outperforms the 1 Ghz Snapdragon.

So it is in smartphones, a few days go by and bam, the hot thing has a faster competitor waiting to make yours seem "slow".

thank goodness I'm not a spec hound.

I like this much more than an EVO, spec wise that humming bird is supposed to crank through polygons at a clip that is 3 times the EVO. and the super Amoled, MMM MMM, tasty. Plus physical keyboard and a less unnecessarily large screen. (EVO capped at 30FPS and the Hummingbird averages 90, or so I read on Engadget)

    two knocks against it

    1) the android, or whatever skin, UI

    2) 10 extra bucks.

Now, I'm not into upgrading, yet, but this is definitely a more intriguing phone to me than the Ginormous EVO.

Still, I will probably wait to upgrade when a phone has

WebOS, or equally multi-tasking friendly, smooth UI and, I cannot believe I am saying this, but 3D games, which I now enjoy immensely, (consider my words from a year ago eaten)

    Dual-Core processor

    Physical keyboard

superAMOLED a plus, higher pixel density also welcomed.
