    My understanding from cruising the developer boards is that the developers who got the 5000D in connection with the contest to develop applications had a lot of criticism of the PIM applications and the synching. Sharp is supposed to be addressing these issues in the 5500 before it goes on sale. According to an article in this morning's Wall Street Journal, the Zaurus will go on sale in the second quarter.

    (This should have been a reply to the prior thread about the story in Popular Mechanics, not a new thread, I just hit the wrong button. Sorry)
