Does anyone know if an unlocked & jailbroken iphone would/could work on our Sprint network.

Rumor has it...it is possible even though we have a CDMA and AT&T has GSM

I certainly haven't seen it done, but that doesn't mean much.

It's not possible. GSM phones can't operate on CMDA networks. Can't be done.

Why is this being asked in the Palm Pre forum???

The hardware itself cannot run on a CDMA network, only GSM

Jailbreak and unlock do not change the phone's hardware, which is incapable of communicating with CDMA towers. No matter what software modifications are made, it will not work with CDMA and likely never will.
