    That virtual keyboard on the iphone was a real dealbreaker for me. After so many years on blackberrys I really need the tactile feedback when typing. And while a certain amount of auto correct is necessary ("i" to "I" and "theyre" to "they're"), I don't like the way a keyboard wants to change words for me, as described in the article.

    FWIW, I think this problem must have been fixed with the 3.0 update, because I just typed both "neat" and "quattro" (examples used in the article) several times on my 3GS and didn't have any problems.
    Now THIS is the future of smartphones.
