    Wow the start up time is just pitiful, luckily I don't restart my phone often....

    i think over time startup may get quicker
    but whatever the phone never freezes so i can live with long startup time lol

    lol... this is all too funny.

    seriously though... how often do you turn your phone on and off? i know people (including myself) who leave their phone on for days... even weeks at a time. i think that's the norm.

    Now that was fun. Pre on EVDO Sprint kicked the GS's ****.

    2 weeks to go before I have to bring the Pre back cause of reception issues. I don't want to do it Palm/Sprint FIX THIS THING!!!!!!!!

    The 3GS had a 3G connection for the test, it was the regular iPhone 3G that went onto EDGE.

    The 3GS was always in 3G the older iPhone 3G dropped to EDGE

    I would have liked for them to do the same test on wifi. This test makes it difficult to tell the platform vs. the service.

    That's just comparing the network at that specific location in the U.S. The test could easily have had a different outcome.

    The real test would be back-to-back tests (not simultaneous) of web pages rendering on a Wi-Fi network.
