i think i'll stick with Sprint and keep saving/investing the difference every month. the rich get richer.
And why do you think people have been moving from Sprint to Verizon all along despite those price differences? You can't compare the providers as if they are apples to apples. Brand matters.
There are plenty of enterprises offering more for less who still get creamed by the competitors.

If ATT drops its price it hurts Sprint even at Sprints current prices because ATT and Verizon have a much higher perceived value as carriers.

Well, then you'd have to compare that with Sprint's entry level, and again, I don't see any rela savings. Bottomline is that those that want an iPhone, willl get an iPhone. Those that have decided (for whatever reason) that they do not wish to drink the iPhone kool-aid, will find another smartphone. The plan is just something that has to be dealt with when you buy a phone that is exclusive to one particular carrier.

$99 Everything plan... WITH turn by turn Nav?

blows every plan out of the water...

my current Verizon bill is $160 a month with my storm and 2 extra lines

Most people suck at math and don't pay attention until they get the monthly bill, this is why a $99 everything plan looks more expensive than a $59.99 plan + $19.99 for texting + $30.00 for data. It's all marketing to consume the consumer. It's the same reason Walmart prices things with $.64 and $.43 and random cents values like that, it makes it harder for the customer to add up.

From my area you could conceivable pay $150 for your line. Thats 5 SERO lines!
AND, my iPhone friends say you do not get any discounting (coroporate or other) off the data package. Maybe not the texts, I don't remember--I'm thinking they said off the minutes only.

Apple is too anal to accept an anus app these days, LOL!

Seriously, did you see what they recently rejected? They allowed them in though, likely after someone pointed out how stupid their "standards" are.
HP has officially ruined it's own platform and kicked webOS loyalists and early TouchPad adopters to the curb. You think after you drop it like a hot potato and mention it made no money and is costing you money, anyone else wants it??? Way to go HP!!

And some people are fools to keep believing their hype. HP has shown they will throw webOS under the bus and people are still having faith in them??? News flash: if it's own company won't stand behind it, it's finished!

AT&T has better phones. And you have the capability to use better phones not locked down to them on their network.

I'm sure that has something to do with it. Most likely its a combo of things. Phones, cdma, iphone, etc.

Whatever the case, Sprint let its brand slip. No debate on that.

Actually, the price of Walmart's goods has little to do with atempting to fool the buyer and far more to do with margins.

You can't. Problem solved. And yes, the AT&T 3G network is still a mess. Any major happening - Sundance, Coachella, whatever - usually produces major outages for data.
