When last I commented on this 2 months ago, the Apple iPhone App store had just opened. They had a grand total of 1 medical app, ePocrates. Palm had approximately, oh, a bazillion medical apps. Palm won hands down for this doctor (and any other who needs more than just a phone).

However, 2 months have passed. I just rechecked the iPhone App store. They have about 1/3rd of the medical software apps that I regularly use on my Palm available for iPhone, including some very slick implementations of the obstetric software I use nearly every day. That's a big development.

Now if I could only report that there had been some progress on improving the crappy carrier of the iPhone, AT&T, then I'd be even more tempted.
