Yeah, I am interested indeed (allthough a little voice called reason keeps telling me this is probably not a good idea...)
Both my PDA and MP3 player died... and I am always interested in a digital camera to make quick snapshots...
This thing could be the answer...
To bad it is made by an unknown company and running an unknown OS....

But heck I bought a Royal Davinci once too...

Comparatively, it is a pretty good deal. The Kodak mc3 is a combination of digital video recorder, MP3 recorder/palyer, and digital camera also uses CF cards with a price of about $250. The Cyberboy can do all of that plus more!!

So if all you need from a PDA is basic daily organizer... this Cyberboy will meet your needs.

That's what I was thinking too... I saw the comercials of the Kodak MC3 when I was in the US last month and I was thinking: that's cool...

Ironically the CMCIA US sales channel office was about 5 miles from where I was staying in the US...

Yeah, that's just what I need. A bloated PDA/Camera on acid will fit in perfectly with my digital lifestyle:

    8:00 AM- Meet with client

9:00 AM- Schedule meeting with Joe Blow

10:00 AM- Work on web site

11:00 AM- begin randomly shooting pictures of inanimate objects for no apparent reason.

    Interesting quotes from their web-site:

CMC's R&D department pioneered the so-called "System on Chip" technology by imbedding both multimedia functions and CPU on a single chip. This innovation allows the R&D team to reduce the weight of Cyber Boy to only 300g and further improves the rate of energy consumption, a common deficiency for most PDA products.
300grams is 10.5oz that's twice the weight of the Visor Deluxe.

In the near future, the next generation Cyber Boy will be introduced with additional features such as direct wireless Internet connection and GPS functions.
So they plan to cram internet connection and a GPS into the thing. Wow, I guess CMC is like the SwissArmy of handhelds.

CMC Magnetics Corp. (CMC) will launch the world's first single-chip multimedia PDA to be known as "All-In-One Cyber Boy" on June 28th.
Looks like you have to wait another month, ToolKit.

Palm Inc. should really have a look at PDAs such as the CyberBoy. That's what i call improvement.
But at the moment that thing is not perfect yet. Why did they not include a Springport-like slot where the digital camera could be inserted only when needed? And a color screen would certainly be useful for such a multimedia device.
