My bad, didn't know he was talking about you. Just remembered reading it and assumed they were correct. It will never happen again, I swear.

(I edited my post also, to clarify)

Now it looks like I'm the one who can't read

    Just kidding. Let's move on!

In discussing this I think it's important to distinguish between the audio quality of iPhone and the quality of the headphones that ship with it. It's certainly been my experience with iPods that the supplied phones don't get the best out of the player. Not even close, imo.

Anyone tried the iPhone with other headphones?

I don't doubt..those iPod earbuds suck bigtime..they feel bad and are flimsy and they were not audibly better than the rio nitrus headphones I had then...I'm sure it's more of the same with the iPhone set i.e. the audio may be great but how will you tell with those buds?

I think you knew very well what I meant.

Here's something to refresh those with selective memory, I hope the link works.

HP has officially ruined it's own platform and kicked webOS loyalists and early TouchPad adopters to the curb. You think after you drop it like a hot potato and mention it made no money and is costing you money, anyone else wants it??? Way to go HP!!

And some people are fools to keep believing their hype. HP has shown they will throw webOS under the bus and people are still having faith in them??? News flash: if it's own company won't stand behind it, it's finished!

bruckwine, my apologies for the mis-attribution. I knew I shouldn't started taking the Sally D that early in the day...

    Denny, the comment still stands.

It is certainly better than listening to songs skipping on my Treo 700P....

Denny, I have no doubt about that on the 700p...maybe a run with a multitasking Treo might be illuminating.

I think it's fair to separate "devices" from "earphones".

I have a 750 that multitasks. I have no intentions of getting rid of it. It is my workhorse.

When I made my earlier post about the iPhone sounding better than any device through headphones that I have ever used, you should probably be aware that I have traditionally used my Treo as my device of choice for storing and playing music for personal use. I have never owned an iPod primarily because I had the Treo. That is until the iPhone.

    Denny, thanks for the context.

I never use my Treo for music, and several iPods.
